Cookie Notice

A plain-language explanation of the cookies and browser storage used by the Emberstone Support Centre.

Version 1.0 · 9 September 2026

1. Current cookie use

The Support Centre uses an authenticated PHP session to keep a signed-in user connected to the correct account and to protect security-sensitive actions. The exact session cookie name can depend on the hosting configuration.

TypePurposeTypical duration
Essential session cookieAuthentication, session continuity, CSRF protection and permission-aware access.Session or the duration configured by the hosting environment.

2. Analytics and marketing cookies

This Support build does not include third-party advertising cookies, marketing pixels or third-party analytics scripts.

No decorative cookie banner is added when there is nothing optional to accept. If the live site later adds non-essential analytics, advertising or embedded services that require user choice, add an appropriate consent control before those technologies run and update this notice.

3. Browser storage

Production support data is intended to come from the PHP and MariaDB backend. Browser storage must not be treated as the source of truth for ticket permissions, ticket priority or other security-sensitive support records.

4. Managing cookies

You can use browser settings to remove or block cookies. Blocking the essential session cookie will normally prevent authenticated areas of the Support Centre from working correctly.
